Paw Power Charity Can Release

For the first time ever, Heavy Seas will be releasing an exclusive beer for Pups & Pints from its 15 Barrel Brewhouse: PAW POWER!

This Wheat Ale with black currant will be available on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz cans to go ONLY in the Heavy Seas Taproom!

Proceeds from both draft and cans will go to benefit BARCS, Maryland’s largest animal shelter, taking in more than 12,000 homeless dogs, cats, wildlife, farm, exotic and small companion animals each year.

Bring your pup to socialize with other four-legged friends!

This is a ticketed event! The proceeds from all $5 tickets will go to BARCS!

About the beer:

“We wanted to create a beer with BARCS that would appeal to dog-friendly folks with an outdoor lifestyle,” says Heavy Seas Brewmaster, Christopher Leonard. “A light, slightly spicy wheat ale inspired by the white ales of Belgium was our choice to create a refreshing, low ABV, “summer is coming” beer that will make people smile. Orange peel and black currant puree adds a fruity, tart, colorful dimension to this canned homage to our furry friends!”

BARCS BFF Waggin’ will be onsite to with adoptable dogs and cats and to answer any questions you might have about the adoption process!

PLEASE REMEMBER: All dogs must be leashed at all times and are not allowed inside the production side of the brewery.
